How to apply
Initial project ideas should be addressed to the appropriate RPM. All new proposals should be prepared and submitted electronically using ACIAR's Project Proforma (Microsoft Word) and Project Budget Proforma (Microsoft Excel) that can be downloaded from the following web address http://www.aciar.gov.au/node/2632. Eligible research topics
ACIAR priorities for future research projects are divided into 4 broad themes, containing a total of 27 suggestions for project development.
The 4 focus areas are:
- Meeting rising demand for animal protein;
- Improving the productivity and efficiency of food crop and forestry systems;
- Better environments from better agriculture;
- Linking farmers to markets.
